About movies and stuff

This week I saved a time to write here. It is a kind of therapy despite I don't use it frequently. I have lots of thoughts in my mind, but most of the time, I don't have the right person to talk about, so what if I write to myself?
Today I'm tearful and dramatic, so nothing better than write about romantic movies, right?
Starting with ''If Only" ("Antes que termine o dia"), an amaaaaazing story about a man that didn't give the value enough to his girlfriend and someday he dreamt she had an accident and died. When he wakes up, he sees everything he has dreamt happening just in the same way and he tries to fix up everything he can. The end of the movie is the beeeeest but I won't tell you, of course. I saw it in the beggining of this year, but I don't know why (maybe because of the weather, rain brings this sort of feelings) it came to my mind this afternoon... I definitely advise you to see it.
The other one I wanted to tell you is ''Notting Hill'' ("Um lugar chamado Notting Hill"), it is really great too. I'm kind of suspicious to say good things about it because I love Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant and all the movies they make. You can imagine how nice it is just looking at the cast. The story is beautiful... It is about a bookstore owner and a famous actress, they are from different worlds and suddenly they fall for each other. It's sooooo cute... And you should see it too.
I made a list of the ones I haven't seen yet but I intend to see on vacation. So, if you already saw, give me your opinion! (:
- Diário de uma paixão
- Brilho eterno de uma mente sem lembranças
- 500 dias com ela
- A casa do lago
- Orgulho e preconceito
- O guarda-costas
- A vida é bela

And that's it.
Oh, and if you are doing nothing, download this song: "Love will show you everything'', it is the soundtrack of "If Only''. It is cute, but not as much as the movie is.
XOXO.

  1. "500 dias com ela", I've seen this movie.

I didn't like as much as you did, but I don't believe that watching it was a waste of time. I kind of enjoyed it.
I'm more the type of action movies guy; "Tropa de Elite 2" is one of the movie I was almost dying to see; after seen it, I more anxious now than ever, waiting for Tropa 3.

  2. Writing really is a kind of therapy, huh?! :)

I don't know if you'd like to add a movie to your list, but the plot of "The Wave", or "Die Welle", or simply "A Onda" is really good!

@Pedro... do you really think there'll be Tropa 3? I don't think so... but what about that "Federal"?
